Hi! My name is Hy (pronounced “hee”) and I'm a Senior Product Designer at American Express with deep interests in motion design, design systems, and emerging technologies.

I am a proud alum of the Master of Human-Computer Interaction and Design program at University of Washington. Before my design career, I worked in marketing analytics at Ubisoft and spent some years in video & streaming production.

Born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam, I embrace my multi-cultural perspectives to bring design solutions to a global audience. My current domain interests include consumer travel, personal finance, edtech, video production, and augmented reality.

Outside of design, you can find me exploring indie video games, learning jazz piano, or taking virtual boxing classes.
